High waisted with the back of the waist being gently shirred for extra stretch. The back of the skirt had three layers of black gathering 8cm wide attached to the vertical black and white stripes. The front hem is higher than the back and has the black gathering along the edge. Gather the front of the skirt up with some skirt clips to reveal a little extra leg!
